The new Cinderella

If you didn’t already know, there is going to be a new Cinderella movie. With actual people. I love it when they make cartoon characters come to life in movies. There are a few differences just by looking at the trailer, I can’t even imagine how many will be in the actual movie.

In the current trailer,  you see Cinderella’s mother telling her to have courage and be kind.   Then, I am assuming that she dies because you see the stepmother come in the picture. Why is there no talking mice? She randomly goes horse riding and happens to meet Prince Charming? That’s a little different. Prince Charming however, lives up to his name. (I think anyone would agree.) When they first show him, the sun is shining in his face and his blue eyes are staring directly into your soul. The rest of the story is pretty much the same.

Something I have noticed is that every character is much more glamorous than they were in the cartoons. Lady Tremaine is not old at all, she does not have big gray hair and piercing eyes. She has short ginger curly hair, she’s somewhat changed…but the fairy godmother is a different story. That one is going to take some getting used to. As you probably know, the fairy god mother is an old woman with white hair and a cute blue dress with a hood. Now, she is this bleach blonde young woman, with wings. The actor is also known as the Red Queen from the new Alice in Wonderland. (The one with a huge head.) I don’t even want to talk about how flawless they made Cinderella and her glass slippers. Also, her hair isn’t in that weird bun look.

I don’t think they will ever have perfect details, I guess I am just a perfectionist. Anyways, Cinderella will be an amazing movie and will touch many hearts. Here is the website and trailer. Word count: 328
